We believe every child can change the world

Spring Forth Academy is an innovative, mixed-age learner-driven private school serving the St. Croix Valley. We believe every child was created by God to find a calling and change the world.

What makes Spring Forth Academy different?

Spring Forth Academy, an Acton Academy, employs personalized game-based programs for mastering core skills that adapt to the needs of each individual. The school also fosters critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through Socratic discussions, and promotes collaborative experiential learning through real-world projects.

Through Socratic guiding and experiential learning learners will:

Meet Jenny Hannack and Bobbie Turner

Several years ago Jenny Hannack started believing education could be much different for our children to foster curiosity and a love for learning. Jenny has several years as an educator and left the school system to make a great impact through starting her own tutoring business in 2017. Jenny began envisioning what a new type of school could look like. Then, a friend recommended the book Courage to Grow, by Laura Sandefer. This book was exactly the type of school she had been envisioning!

Jenny began sharing the book with friends she knew. She wanted to start a school but wanted a partner or a team of people to do it together.

Jenny gave the book to Bobbie Turner and she was inspired on what school could be for every learner as an individual…
